Check out this vid on the boy who did not pledge allegiance. Why is it that only the kids ever point out the obvious and criticize the wrongdoings? Is it that adults have forgotten their virtue? Are they so bound by fear that they do not speak up any longer? *shrugs* I say let everyone find their happiness in their own way, solong as it does not mentally or physically harm others (though I’ve heard some argue this about such things as homosexuality as well o_O).
Admittedly, I am not the first in line on demonstrations. But my excuse is: oops, I’m an adult now. Like everyone else. Lawl. Fair enough, it’s bad to advocate something you don’t stand absolutely behind… but I don’t think I do. I never go with the flow in that sense. (The only thing mainstream I really do that I can think of is Twilight Bashing XD)
In other, unrelated news, I’ve gotten back my ENG essays #3… one’s an A, one’s A+. I was soooooo happy. Additionally, I seemed to be doing well for my exams. They are set for 3 hours; I left #1 after 80 minutes, and #2 after 50. My new record for essay exams, though my shortest ever was multiple choice in PSY which I left after 45 minutes X3
Also, my professor said he was proud to have a student like me, and he invited me to join his his forth year class in Spring (admission by professor is the only prerequisite). So maybe, if I can’t get into one of my waitlisted classes, that’d be an alternative. I’m still all happy and surprised, because so far I’ve only taken first year English classes, really. Oh, and I did make it off the waitlist and into SOCI 111 today. I’ll be needing that one for my Bachelor allright X3
Either way, I have 2 more exams left to go, and a paper that I have to hand in before noon on monday… and then it’s almost Christmas. Also, I -did- end up violating my calendar… I had virtually nothing to feed on while doing my -assumably- last all-nighter of the semester, and even thought I knew I’d hate myself for doing it… down went 99 cents of chocolate. I can only hop ethat my mother’s parcel arrives soon, so I have another calendar to start over with XD
