Personally, I prefer autumn, but that’s just me. :3
So… looking outside I see the beginning of the new season. The first greens are turning yellow, red and brown. Rain becomes more prevalent, and mornings are chilly. But every now and then, the sun warms up the air and ground, so it’s not all gloomy every day. I do like Autumn as much as Spring. The beginning and the end, and yet a never-ending cycle. It has something comforting about it, at least to me.

And gosh, are the stores ever packed with Halloween accessories, costumes, candy and gadgets. They have been, for at least a week now… And it’s still over a month away. I could go into lamenting the commercialization of holidays, but I’ll save you the talk. Besides, I’m the one who goes to stores after the holiday and buys the candy 50% off, hehe.
But it is amazing still. And trust me, the moment Halloween is over, the Christmas decor will be put out. I mean, it’s not even been a month back to school for me, but the stores march on through the year at quite an amazing pace.

So, I’ve pretty much settled with my schedule now. 5 classes might seem like a huge workload, and they probably will be around midterm and paper time, but having a 3-day weekend every week really works out great. For now I use the spare time to kick back a bit, but eventually I’ll be needing it for working on my assignments.
That being said… So, I’m re-taking my math class. I failed last year. I comfort myself with the thought that it’s a hard class and I always hated math. Honestly though, the first half was easy. It’s later on that stuff gets hard…
At least I’m not the only one repeating. Two girls that were in my class last year are actually taking this class for the third time. o_O I mean, whoa. Granted, seeing how much I pay for classes I’d rather not have to hang around a third time, and rather use my time slots for something else. But the teach is a fun guy, much more so than the last one.

It really does look like a promising year. Two of my classes make me a bit sleepy, partially due to the material covered, but also partially due to the time. I have both of them after one another, and it goes from 2:30 to 5:30, then I can go home again. By the time I arrive, supper tends to be ready. On Tuesday I walked in on them as they had started eating.
Granted, it’s not the first time that I’ve had a positive outlook followed by a steep fall. But said fall was hugely to my lack of self-discipline and major procrastination… once you start to stop caring, there’s really nothing left…
Other people take a year off, I waste a year of money. ^^;

However, reading will keep me extremely busy this year. I love reading, so I suppose it’ll be alright, but somehow I tend to make my way through without thoroughly… “appreciating” the required texts.
Oh well. I know I’ll find time for myself regardless. I always do somehow.
